Filter AI-written posts in your LinkedIn feed.

SlopSimple is a LinkedIn AI post detector and feed filter. It checks eligible post text as you scroll, adds an AI-writing score, and hides posts above a threshold you choose.

No credit card required. Desktop browser extension for X and LinkedIn.

Read LinkedIn with an AI filter you control.

You follow people for their experience and ideas. When your feed starts to feel repetitive, an adjustable filter gives you another way to decide what gets your attention. SlopSimple works inside the LinkedIn web feed, so you can review writing signals without copying each post into a separate detector.

Filtering is on by default at 80. A post is hidden only after analysis returns a score strictly above your threshold. On LinkedIn, a collapsed card marks the hidden post and shows its AI-writing score. Choose Show post to read the original, including its links and score badge.

You can also turn filtering off and keep the scores visible. Open a badge by hovering, focusing it with the keyboard, or clicking it to see details. The score is an estimate of AI-writing signals; it does not establish who wrote the post or whether their advice is sound.

How to set up the LinkedIn AI filter.

  1. Create your SlopSimple account with an email sign-in code. Eligible new accounts start a 7-day trial immediately.
  2. Choose your desktop browser and follow its store installation steps. SlopSimple supports Chrome, Brave, Edge, Firefox, Opera and Safari on macOS.
  3. Open SlopSimple in your browser toolbar and choose Sign in to link your account. Keep LinkedIn checks enabled in the popup.
  4. Open your LinkedIn feed and scroll. Adjust Hide AI posts in the popup, or switch it off to read all posts with scores.

LinkedIn and X checks have separate on/off controls. Pausing LinkedIn restores its hidden posts. You can leave X checks running independently.

Which LinkedIn content gets checked?

SlopSimple checks the body text of eligible feed posts between 80 and 12,000 characters. It can check text behind “see more” when that text is already loaded in the page. Opening a post’s collapsed text does not require you to paste it elsewhere.

Comments, private messages, quoted-post text, images and video are excluded. Short posts, over-length posts and posts without an estimate stay visible. A post can appear before analysis finishes. The extension works in desktop browsers; the native LinkedIn app and mobile browsers are outside the current scope.

Can human-written posts be hidden?

Yes. AI detection can produce false positives, and AI-assisted text can be hard to distinguish from human writing. If you want fewer posts hidden, raise the threshold. If you want to inspect signals before filtering, turn filtering off. You can reveal an individual post without changing your settings.

SlopSimple filters writing signals. It does not fact-check posts, rank expertise, or classify every repetitive post as AI-generated. Read more about choosing and adjusting your filter.

Price and data handling.

The card-free trial includes 20 analyses per day on LinkedIn and 20 on X, resetting at midnight UTC. After 7 days, checks pause unless you subscribe. Paid plans cost $4.99 per month or $29.99 per year in USD, plus applicable taxes. Service usage limits apply. See subscription terms.

Eligible post text and available creator identifiers are sent to SlopSimple. TypeSafe AI processes detection, with Google Gemini as a fallback. Raw post text is not stored in SlopSimple’s application database; saved results and feedback expire after 30 days. See the privacy policy for provider and account details.
